A September Promise: TO LOVE AGAIN Launches Soon
Share
The wait is nearly over — autumn brings a love story like no other.
September always feels like a month of new beginnings. The air is a little crisper, routines settle back after the long days of summer, and there’s a sense of possibility in the season. For me, this September is especially exciting because in just a week’s time, I’ll be launching my brand-new novel, To Love Again.
About the Book
Elsa Berg thought she had moved on from Victor Andersson, the man who broke her heart ten years ago. She has a career in Stockholm and a relationship that makes sense on paper. But when she returns to Finnish Lapland for her best friend’s wedding, nothing prepares her for seeing Victor again — or for the feelings that rush back under the glow of the Northern Lights.
Victor never stopped loving Elsa, but a decade of silence lies between them. In the close-knit world of Lapland, where family bonds run deep, secrets linger, and every choice echoes through the community, they must decide if forgiveness is possible.
Early Access
On 11 September, To Love Again will be available exclusively from my own store, helenahalmebooks.com, at a special early price of just £1.99 / $2.99 / €2,99. Two weeks later, on 25 September, the book will be released worldwide on Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, libraries, and soon Kobo and Google Play, where it will be for sale at the regular price of £3.99 / $4.99 / 4,99€.
This means readers who preorder directly from me will not only be the first to step into Elsa and Victor’s world, but will also enjoy the story at half the price.
Helsinki Inspirations
Although much of To Love Again takes place in snowy Lapland, some of its most pivotal moments happen in Helsinki. The city provides a striking contrast to the wilderness — urban, elegant, and steeped in history. When I visited Helsinki last month, I retraced Elsa and Victor’s steps:
- The elegant Kappeli Café, where Elsa and Victor first meet alone.
- The iconic Strindberg Café, where their relationship begins to falter.
- The glittering windows of Lindroos on Aleksanterinkatu, where Victor buys that ring.
Walking those same streets reminded me how much the city itself is part of the story; a backdrop of beauty, tension, and possibility. I’ve shared photos of these spots so readers can experience Helsinki as both a real place, and a stage for fiction.
A Season of Love Stories
As I prepare for this launch, I’m also delighted that all of my books are now available more widely than ever before — not just on Amazon, but on Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, and in libraries, with Kobo and Google Play to follow very soon. It feels fitting that in September, the season of fresh starts, my stories are reaching new readers around the world.
