It's my party and I'll cry if I want to... It's my birthday this week and if you know that song by Dave Stewart & Barbara Gaskin, you are probably around my age and know birthdays are no longer such welcome celebrations.

Joking aside, I am looking forward to my birthday. We're going to my favourite French restaurant here in North London en famille. You will know that means with family – I couldn't resist a little bit of French. It seemed so appropriate! 🇫🇷
Luckily a certain Monsieur Beaumont (if you've read To Melt A Frozen Heart, you'll know who I mean) has nothing to do with the restaurant but I'm certain his character was inspired by our local bistro. Although I have to point out, the chef, nor any of the wonderful people working there are nothing like Jacques!
Eating out with my family is precious and something I treasure above anything else. So this will be such a treat.
